Accessibility Statement

What we have built in

• Text and interface colors that meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios
• A skip-to-content link as the first focusable element on every page
• Visible focus outlines on every interactive element
• Labels on every form field, with errors announced to screen readers
• Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels
• Semantic landmarks and one clear page heading per page
• Descriptive alternative text on all meaningful images
• Reduced motion honored for anyone who requests it in their system settings
• Body text at 16 pixels or larger, resizable to 200 percent without loss of function

Program accessibility

Programs are delivered in English and Spanish. We arrange ASL interpretation, large-print materials, telehealth participation, and accessible venues on request. The 988 lifeline offers Spanish and ASL services 24 hours a day.

Known limitations

Some third-party content we link to — including our donation processor and partner websites — is outside our control and may not meet the same standard. Tell us when you hit a barrier and we will help you complete the task another way, including by phone.
