Training that equips your team and funds free care for local families

Organizations across Northeast Florida bring WellMind in to train staff in recognizing and responding to mental health need. Every training fee directly funds free community programs.

Course catalog

Five training programs

Delivered on site or virtually for healthcare staff, home visitors, educators, case managers, faith leaders, and employers.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)

8 hours · nationally certified · valid 3 years

Teaches participants to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges. Available for adults working with other adults, or for those working with youth. Ideal for healthcare staff, educators, home visitors, case managers, and employers.

Trauma-Informed Care Training

4 hours · organizational workforce training

For organizations serving trauma-exposed populations. Teaches the principles of trauma-informed care and how to apply them in organizational practice. Designed for home visitors, case managers, teachers, healthcare workers, and social service providers.

Perinatal Mental Health Foundations

Specialized · half or full day

For home visitors, doulas, OB/GYN staff, pediatric providers, and community health workers on identifying and responding to perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Includes Edinburgh screening administration, safe messaging guidelines, and warm referral protocols.

Youth Mental Health Training

Follows Youth MHFA curriculum

For school staff, youth workers, after-school program staff, and faith community leaders on recognizing and responding to youth mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation. Follows AFSP safe messaging guidelines.

Train-the-Trainer Program

Organizational licensing · annual agreement

Allows partner organizations to deliver WellMind programs independently within their own workforce. Includes full facilitator training, curriculum licensing, and ongoing technical support from WellMind staff.
